Advanced Training Application
DIRECTIONS:
If you are new to studying with us, please fill out the Application Below. (If you have been pre-approved to join the Advanced training, you do not need to fill out the application- simply email polaritytherapyinsitute@gmail.com expressing your interest in enrolling).
First time applicants will be contacted within 2-3 business days to schedule a 15 minute zoom or phone call for us to get to know each other.
If you are accepted into the training a $250 deposit is required to hold your place; this deposit is non-refundable and is part of the tuition. If you pay in full, this amount will be deducted from the balance you owe. If you choose a payment plan, your first payment will be due on the 15th of each month once training begins according to the terms outlined in your Acceptance Letter.
MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
18 Years or Older
Minimum of high school diploma
Completed application and interview process (as needed- if already a student and pre-approved to advance, this step is not required)
Agrees to abide by the Student Policy Handbook
Demonstrates aptitude to learn and practice Polarity Therapy, and to contribute positively to group learning dynamics
If studying remotely, has access to a table and practice clients and makes a commitment to practice as part of classes during the breaks
Is committed to completing the program, including performing an appropriate number of practice sessions outside class time and following protocols for logging/ documenting clincial work
Preference for persons who have had exposure to Polarity Therapy; at a minimum demonstrates an interest in ongoing personal growth and receiving appropriate support for that process
Demonstrates appropriate degree of maturity, self-motivation, self-awareness, and interpersonal boundaries to be engaging in a therapeutic training.
Completion of an APP level program is required for the Advanced Training; in some cases we may waive this requirement and admit you to the Advanced Program while you are still completing credits toward APP. If you are transferring from another school’s APP program, we may require you to remediate parts of the APP Training if we feel you did not master concepts we deem essential to Polarity practice. Wherever possible we will try to identify this remediation prior to enrollment. You must have a transcript on file with us from your APP program in order to officially transfer those credits in, if you wish to complete the RPP program with us.
If you are only interested in auditing a particular module / class, rather than fully enrolling, we may waive the requirement of an APP Education depending on your background.
NOTE: Please read the Informed Consent & Video Release Form, which you are required to agree to when you enroll in any class or program.
Our complete withdrawal/refund policy is outlined in the acceptance letter. If you withdraw from the program the $250 non-refundable deposit is retained, along with the cost of any classes that have already taken place at their individual price. If you are enrolling in a single module as continuing education, rather than the entire program, individual modules are not refundable after you enroll; a video recording can be sent of the courses if for any reason you are unable to attend. All Credit card fees are non-refundable.
